Dennis Gabor anniversary held by Google. Google has celebrated Dennis Gabor yesterday, June 5 the 110th birthday of the Nobel prize for physics Dennis Gabor, inventor of holography with a new logo, mostly. All day Saturday, Google has had a new logo (doodle) holographic style to celebrate the 110th birthday of Dennis Gabor made Google the words in a green rectangular background transparent black just like the first images of holography photographed by physical. Dennis Gabor was born June 5 to 110 years ago, in Budapest in 1900 and became a British researcher and scientist awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1971 with the invention of holography.
Dennis Gabor started 'his career as an engineer doing research for the German industry but in 1933 the Nazis decided to leave Germany and continue his work in Britain where he also took citizenship. In 1949 Dennis Gabor was lecturer at Imperial College of Science Technology in London where inseganava physical electronics in 1958. In 1968 he was awarded a position as researcher for CBS Laboratories Stamford , Connecticut USA.
Dennis Gabor died in London on 8 February 1979.
Holography was 1947 when he succeeded in perfecting Dennis Gabor holography, producing holograms using simple light green spectrogram of a mercury vapor lamp. Holography is an optical technology for storage of optical information in the form of registration of a fine network of interference fringes by use of coherent light (both spatially and temporally) laser. So what you see today in clubs around the world is an invention of Gabor.
