Cindy Crawford's daughter- new Versace face

It appears that modelling goes in the family. Supermodel Cindy Crawford's 10-year-old daughter Kaia Gerber became the newest face of Young Versace's campaign. The inaugural line will be suitable for children aged 0 to 12 years old and will feature signature Versace details with whom we are already accustomed. Medusa heads, gold studding and the rock ‘n’ roll look will surround the children’s outfits as well.

Cindy Crawford is known to have modelled for Versace back in the early 1990s. Now, the famous supermodel is looking forward to seeing her daughter follow in her footsteps. One of the most famous photographers in the fashion industry, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, were the ones to photograph the young model in the making.

"I'm so thrilled that Kaia was chosen to be part of the first Young Versace campaign," said Cindy Crawford in a news statement. "I have so many fond memories of the times I spent with Gianni and Donatella."

Kaia can be seen wearing a leather jacket and a miniskirt, her hair – legacy of her mother most likely – waving back behind her. With the makeup on, the girl appears older than ten. However, the ad is tastefully done.

Cindy Crawford revealed she had been on set during her daughter’s shooting. She described the whole thing as a “fantastic experience.”

Donatella Versace also praised young Kaia’s ability: “Like her mother, Kaia has a very special gift. The camera really, really loves her.”

The inaugural line was just revealed in Milan, Italy, a short while ago.
