90th birthday for Betty White

On the 17th of January, the famous movie icon, Betty White celebrates her 90th birthday. Earlier this month the actress and her illustrious career were celebrated at a party that was taped and broadcasted on NBC on Monday. The show was entitled: "A Tribute to America's Golden Girl."
Betty White was dazzled and moved when Mary Tyler Moore made an appearance at the show as well. The 75 year old actress who had helped White in her career by playing homemaker Sue Ann Nivens had recently underwent brain surgery in order to remove a benign tumour. The appearance of the actress was received with standing ovations.
Most of the night was filled with laughter and jokes, while Betty White giggled in her seat.
During the show Amy Poehler said: "Betty, you're going to hear a lot of jokes tonight about your age. But take comfort in the fact that come tomorrow, you won't remember any of them."
Mama's Family co-star Carol Burnett joked friendly: "Like many of you, I first heard about Betty from the wonderful stories told to me by my grandmother.”
Zachary Levi even went as far as proposing to Betty White with a diamond ring. They even sealed the deal with a kiss on the lips! "I would like to be the mother of your children”, he laughed.
Other stars who payed a tribute to White were: Wendie Malick, Valerie Bertinelli and Jane Leeves, President Barack Obama, Ellen DeGeneres, Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, Morgan Freeman, Hugh Jackman, Jay Leno and Ray Romano with Brad Garrett.
”I've been the luckiest old broad on two feet to have all the jobs that I've had," White said.
