Prince Philip still in hospital

The Duke of Edinburgh was forced to remain in hospital for the fourth night in a row on Sunday as he stood recovering from a recent minor heart operation. The Duke is recovering well after the procedure that took place on Friday. The doctors fit a coronary stent in order to ease the blood flow around his heart.
Prince Philip went to Papworth hospital, in Cambridgeshire after he started complaining of chest pains. The doctors found out there was a blockage in one of his arteries. Many members of the royal family have already visited him. Among them we count six of his grandchildren including Price William. The Duke is eager to leave the hospital.
A Buckingham Palace spokesman said: "The Duke is in good spirits and will remain in hospital under observation for a short period. The Queen will continue to be briefed on his condition We do not have details of a release date at this stage."
After several tests the blockage was discovered and the doctors performed a "minimally invasive procedure of coronary stenting", which was later declared a complete success.
The Duke is known as a robust and active man, therefore this was the most serious medical scare he ever suffered. This is the first Christmas morning service the Duke missed at Sandringham.
The Sandringham rector, the Rev Jonathan Riviere told those that had gathered at the Christmas service: "We pray for the Queen and the royal family. Especially today, we pray for Prince Philip and his continued recovery."
