New Zynga titles added

After choosing its new headquarters, Zynga announced the arrival of a new gaming platform that was so far dubbed Project Z. The new project will allow the company’s millions of customers to play games on Facebook and Zynga.com without encountering any problems. Moreover, the company has prepared ten new game titles among which we name Zynga Bingo, Hidden Chronicles, Dream Zoo and their most ambitious project so far CastleVille.
Zynga CEO Mark Pincus announced on Tuesday that the company wanted to add more social aspects to social gaming, making them more attractive and engaging.
"We're committed to one vision, one mission that hasn't changed, it won't change," said company Chief. "We want to be the biggest macro bet on social gaming."
CastleVille is the most important game produced by Zynga so far. The company has also produced FarmVille, FrontierVille and CityVille. The game has a medieval theme and strongly resembles DreamWorks' Shrek. Although the DreamWorks SKG co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg was on the Zynga board, he did not take part in the game’s production.
"We want to creative a narrative with characters that redefines the social-gaming experience," says Bill Jackson, who is the creative director of CastleVille.
A few weeks ago Zynga also announced that some of its games would be available on Google+. On Tuesday Mafia Wars 2 was added to the list. Earlier this year the company also launched a Kung Fu Panda 2 version of CityVille.
At the moment Zynga’s main competitor on Facebook is Sims Social who gathered 66.6 million players.
