Costco sells the Droid Bionic
When talking about the Motorola Droid Bionic, one of the major concerns is the cost. Its price is $299.99 with a two year contract which makes the device a pricey one even if it offers great specifications and proves to be a wonderful handset. In addition, by purchasing several additional accessories the price can only go up.
Still, it appears that Costco members have drawn the lucky straw. According to PhoneArena, one of the largest retailers wishes to sell the phone for only $279.99. Moreover, the company plans to give a bundle of free accessories as a gift for purchasing the handset. But what does this bundle include? Well, Costco members will receive a classic dock, a vehicle navigation dock and also a battery charger plus an extra battery. The accessories cost about $158 so those planning to purchase the phone are in luck.
However, it must be pointed out that none of these accessories let you access Webtop. The application allows you to change your phone in a portable PC that has full access to Firefox. If you wish to access these features then you have to turn to the pricier accessories such as the $300 laptop dock, the $100 HD station, or even the $30 Webtop adapter.
The Droid Bionic features a dual-core processor, 8-megapixel rear camera that comes with 1080p video recording plus a VGA front camera. It comes with a 4.3-inch qHD display and runs on the latest Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. Moreover, it has 4G LTE support.
