Prince William spoke about his late mother
The end of the Canadian tour is getting closer and closer for Prince William and former Kate Middleton, but not a day passes in which the couple does not receive the sympathy of Canadians. It was William’s turn this time to endear himself towards three grieving sisters who had recently lost their mother. He spoke about his own loss, told them he understood completely and explained that not a day passes in which he does not miss his mother, Lady Diana.
The royal couple visited Yellowknife, the capital of the Northwest Territories last week and was shown a garden made by sisters Meryl, Margot and Meghan Cooper in order to commemorate their mother that had passed away due to cancer in 2002. Mail Online later stated that the Prince spoke to the three sisters, told them he truly understands "what it's like to lose your mother at such a young age". He also explained that his own loss made him able to "imagine (their) pain". William later spoke to one sister in particular, Meghan, and told her to take very good care of her sisters.
The three were thoroughly impressed with the royal couple and were amazed of the fact that William and Kate "really opened up in the garden - they are very genuine people."
The couple’s visit will draw to an end today when they will leave from the Los Angeles International Airport. The tour had been a great success and everyone was amazed how lovely, open and likeable the two were.
